I’ll admit a more apt word choice would have been contradictory rather than paradoxical, but you’ve gotta agree, paradoxical just sounds so much cooler ;p

Like every first Sunday of the month, I went to my writers group today. I’ve written another meeting take-away post on the Vision Writers group blog, after a fun meeting filled with cool new people I hope to see again.
Interestingly enough, my story was one of the two stories who received the advice, and I was the one who gave that advice in the other instance ;p

Today I went to the Brisbane Writers Group Convention as a speaker and over on the Vision Writers site I’ve blogged about the experience.
The last Vision Writers meeting for the year was today (we have a Christmas party next month, but we don’t critique, we just have fun). There was still some important takeaways though and I’ve blogged about the biggest one on the Vision website, so go there to see why sometimes, you’ve gotta go back.
When it’s Halloween you get beasts on the brain.

In other news, I’ll be carving my usual Jack Skellington pumpkin soon, but we’ve also bought some mini pumpkins – any ideas what I should carve them into?
